BACAFAB LLC
The ground rules that govern a service ticket, a quote, a certification report and the use of this website. Plain language is used where law allows, and the shop answers to these terms before any copy.
These Terms of Service govern BACAFAB LLC and everyone who books a ticket, accepts a quote, receives a report or visits this website. By placing an order, approving a quote, using the contact form or browsing these pages, a visitor agrees to these terms. If a reader does not accept them, that reader should not order a service or use the site. A written exception agreed in advance between the parties may vary a single clause, but no other change binds the shop.
The term customer means the person or organisation that places an order, owns the water system or holds the service account. The term shop means BACAFAB LLC. These terms cover the customer and anyone the customer asks the shop to serve at a property, including a tenant, a facility manager or an authorised representative. A person who only reads the website is a visitor and follows the site use clauses without taking on a booking obligation. Where an order names multiple owners, each owner stands jointly for the ticket.
BACAFAB fabricates backflow prevention assemblies, tests them, certifies the result, builds enclosures and freeze protection, pulls failing valves and files compliance reports. These services protect a water system against a cross connection. A certificate records what a bench found on the day of the test; it does not promise that a valve will behave forever, because assembly lifespan depends on water quality, pressure and care after the visit. Every quote names the service line a customer is buying so no surprise part arrives later.
A fixed price is given on a written ticket once the scope is clear, and it holds for the stated validity window. Services sold by the hour use a posted hourly rate and a true time log. A price covers the listing on the ticket. A hidden condition that appears at the site, such as a valve in worse state than declared or an inaccessible vault, may require a supplemental ticket before the shop proceeds, and the shop tells a customer about the gap before adding a charge. Any discount noted on a ticket applies only as the ticket states.
An invoice follows the completed work and states a clear due date. Payment is due on that date by the method a customer chose on the ticket unless the parties agreed a credit term in writing. A late or unpaid invoice may pause further scheduling until the account is current. Taxes and permit fees appear separately where they apply and are owed in the same way as the service charge. A receipt is issued for every payment. Disputing a charge does not cancel service that already lawfully occurred.
A booked time is held for a customer once confirmed. Cancelling or moving a visit with less than one day of notice may carry a fee that covers the reserved bench and the blanked calendar since the shop turned away other work for that slot. The shop will also keep a slot when it must move a visit for weather safety or a parts delay. Reminders go out so a test does not catch anyone by surprise, but it remains the customer duty to have the line reachable on the day.
The customer grants the shop lawful access to the property and to the water system on the scheduled day. The shop needs power near the bench or the vault, a workable route for tooling and clear knowledge of any isolation valve and sprinkler or fire layout. A customer must disclose known hazards, poor valve conditions and prior test results. If an unsafe or unreachable setting blocks the work, the shop may stop and propose a safe plan rather than force a valve into service. Local utility schedules that gate the work are not the shop fault.
A fabricated BACAFAB assembly is built to the code and the hazard class named on the ticket, with grade matched materials sized to the advertised line. Workmanship is inspected before release and the assembled unit is pressure checked where the build allows. A drawing or a fixture tag provided by the customer is used as given; the shop checks it for reason but does not design the whole protected system. A request that breaks the applicable code cannot be filled, and the shop will say so plainly rather than ship a risk in a nice housing.
A certification test is run on equipment with a current calibration and the outcome is reported exactly as the bench reads it. A passing hold is signed and dated; a failing unit is reported as a failure and is not pushed through by altering numbers. The certificate names the assembly, the site, the bench, the result and the date. Certification attaches to that tested unit on that day. A customer who needs a district copy receives the same record the shop files, never a watered down version.
The customer keeps the system true after the shop leaves. That means no bypass is installed around a certified assembly, no internal part is swapped without a fresh test, and the due date of the next certification is followed. The customer provides the true pipe condition and any existing paperwork so the shop does not test blind. Where the governing district sets additional duties, the customer obeys those duties. The shop writes the honest record; the customer keeps the protected line honest between the visits.
Enclosure builds, valve replacement and freeze protection work follow the same ticket discipline. An enclosure is set to the code spacing so a future technician can reach every test cock. A replaced valve is matched to the hazard and flow and is certified after it seats. Freeze protection bundles insulation, drainage and any heat routine sized for the location and forecast. These lines are protective care, not a substitute for the annual test or for the upkeep a district separately lays down, so each is scheduled to work with the calendar, not against it.
BACAFAB supplies the fittings, valves and enclosures listed on a ticket wherever it can and will tell a customer when a preferred part is only available on supply chain delay. Where a customer insists on its own part, the shop will fit and test it but warranty is limited to the fit and test, not the life of the third item. Utility outages, valve schedule blocks and district review times are outside the shop control. The shop coordinates, but it does not own a regulator change or a supplier lead time.
This section of the agreement is covered by the record kept on file. A defect in workmanship found soon after a completed job and reported in writing is addressed by the shop at no extra charge for the repair of that defect. The warranty does not reach damage from freezing that the owner chose not to protect, from poor water quality that eats a seat, from a third party forceful service, or from normal wear read at the next test. Certification stays valid only while the unit is unchanged and unfrozen.
To the extent the law allows, the total liability of BACAFAB LLC for a claim tied to a service or to this website is limited to the amount a customer paid for that service. The shop is not liable for lost profits, lost water, a third party interruption or incidental and consequential loss that flows from a covered event. Nothing in these terms removes a duty the law will not allow a party to waive. A real water incident reported to a district involves duties owned by the property operator and the district, not a clean sheet the shop can promise away.
A customer agrees to defend and hold BACAFAB LLC harmless against a claim that arises from the customer own acts: an unreported bypass, a false pipe condition, an unapproved part forced onto the line, or access the customer granted past a known hazard. Indemnity covers a reasonable shop cost of defending such a claim. Indemnity does not reach loss caused by the shop own negligence, which stays governed by the liability clause above. Both sides act fairly here rather than turning every bump into a courtroom.
The installed assembly and its parts belong to the property after payment. The drawing, the test method, the bench record and the report wording are the professional work product of the shop. A customer may hold and file the certificate and may share it with any regulator as the law expects, but may not edit the result or present the report as original shop material after alteration. Reprints of a record stay available from the shop and carry the same wording as the filed original.
The BACAFAB name, the mark on the job tag and the layout of this website belong to BACAFAB LLC. Nothing on the site grants a licence to reuse its text, ground pattern or short phrase work for a competing site or a misleading page. A visitor may view and share the site for its own truthful purpose. Reproducing the content to pass it off as another shop work, or framing the page inside a third party frame in a misleading way, is not allowed. Written permission covers any other reuse.
Personal information and job records from a service are handled under the BACAFAB Privacy Policy, reachable from the homepage and from the footer of this page. A certification record may be required to stay on file for a legal term. The shop keeps its records truthful and gives a customer a copy of its own file on request. Nothing in this clause weakens a right granted by the privacy policy or by an applicable law, and a genuine request is answered without delay.
A visitor agrees to use this site lawfully and without overloading it. No automated grab of every page is allowed, and no attempt is made to break the site systems or to fish for another records. The contact form is for genuine enquiries, not for spam or automated mail. The shop takes no responsibility for content a visitor posts on an outside board about its services, and it reserves the right to block an address that abuses the form or the site infrastructure.
The shop may send notices by the email a customer supplies, by the postal address on a ticket or by the phone line a customer keeps on account. A message is treated as received once the shop mail out and any standard reply window passes. Where a customer approves a quote electronically or by recorded phone, that approval has the force of a written signature under any law that accepts an electronic record. Keeping contact details current is a customer duty so a renewal notice and a certificate both arrive on time.
Either side may end a running service arrangement with written notice, subject to the work and fees already booked. Completed and billed work stays payable and already issued certificates stay valid until their own standard expires. The shop may decline a future ticket where an account is in dispute or where a site habit has put the team at risk. Termination for one ticket does not wipe a larger agreement unless the two are read together as one file. Good running lines rarely end here.
The shop is not liable for a delay from a cause beyond reasonable control: severe weather, a utility outage, a supplier halt, a labour stoppage or a public emergency. When such a cause pauses a job, the shop tells the customer and reschedules in good faith as soon as the cause lifts. A long pause lets either side end the affected ticket with refund of unearned payment. Force majeure does not excuse payment for work finished before the interruption.
BACAFAB may update these terms when a rule, a tool or a service line changes. A revised version replaces this page and shows a fresh revised date near the top to match the policy page. The shop notes a material change on the homepage rather than burying it. Continuing to order or to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms. A written copy of a prior version remains available on request for anyone who needs to see the wording that ran under an older order.
Each ticket, together with these terms and any written supplement, forms the whole agreement between the parties for that work and replaces prior talk about the same scope. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, that clause is severed and the remainder keeps its force. Headings are for reading convenience and carry no meaning on their own. A waiver of one breach is not a waiver of every later one, so a relaxed rule one day still stands the next.
BACAFAB LLC is based at 2592 W 2375 N, Clearfield - 84015-8297, United States (US). These terms follow the law of the State of Utah for claims not carried by federal rule, and the parties first try a fair informal talk before any formal step. A dispute that cannot be settled by talk is brought in the appropriate United States court for the shop home county, unless a governing law chooses another proper seat. Nothing here stops either side from seeking relief where a law protects a party against an unfair venue clause.
Backflow work is protective plumbing, not a guarantee against every future incident in a building. A valve can fail in silence after a passing certificate if the water is harsh or the assembly is hit. The shop therefore urges the annual rhythm that certifications were made for and records honestly what its own bench sees. Where a customer needs a level of assurance above the ordinary service, the ticket should carry that requirement in writing so the shop can price and build to it rather than discover it later at a claim table.
